Give me GORO!
No, it doesn't use iD Tech 5. Last I heard it uses an updated version of iD Tech 4. Regardless, the game looks stunning.
Edit: Heres some proof, from ign: "We previously reported Prey 2 would be using id Tech 5. Bethesda Softworks Director of Marking and PR Pete Hines says the game will not be using that engine. "This game has been in development for quite a while and id Tech 5 is still in progress (until Rage ships, and probably even after). So it really was...
As I've stated in many Prey 2 related articles, whilst the sequel doesn't utilise many of the attributes of the original title that made it so unique, it still looks bloody fantastic. Its a brilliant hybrid of genre's with some intresting implementations for an FPSRPG, such as a cover-system and free-running mechanics. This sounds and looks to be an astonishing game, even if it is a completely different title...
Goro's my favourite character, so as you can probably tell, this news has frustrated me... Greatly so.
By the looks of it, he's still going to put on weight and loose hair, its just now we're seeing it in a proggressive state. I don't mind it, it adds more character and atmosphere to the story. I'm looking forward to this title...
It's fantastic to be seeing some new Media regarding the title. Hopefully Max Payne's return will be glorious. Looking at the scan's the games coming along nicely, I don't particularly find the redesign necessary, as its been years since we last saw Max and naturally he's going to have changed and his situation developed, but regardless, we can see a little more "Max" in the character now...
And now, to read the article.
Off topic, I ...
Whilst the game seem's to abandon all the aspects of the Original that made it so unique, that doesn't prevent this Sequel from looking incredibly intriguing.

"Gearbox Wants Female Duke Nukem Game"
Gamers Don't.
Now, "Get back to work, you slacker!"
@ Warprincess
Your favourite film Twilight shows the Female Protagonist to be weak and defenceless... and is Shit.
Spiderman 2 and Ultimate Spiderman were two of the Greatest Superhero games of all time (If not THE Greatest), if they can return to them standards and we'll have a winner.
I hope that Dead Rising 3 gives us a choice of who to play as (Frank or Chuck). It was good to have Frank & Isabella reintroduced to the series in Case West, so I hope that they're returning yet again. I want a similar setting to the original for three also.
I remember playing Overtime Mode and the SWAT Team Members being introduced, it was actually frightful how strong they were at times and was quite a chilling experience crossing paths with them.
The anticipation for April 18th is destroying me. This Beta is the gaming event of the year for me (Asside from the actual release of Gears of War 3). I hope all fellow Gears of War fanatics enjoy the Beta and maybe I'll see you on it...
Hopefully with the technology powering the NGP Developers will place as much effort as they do in to Console titles in to handheld titles. I'm looking forward to seeing some new IP's...
Gimme Gimme Gimme!
I'm going to be busy with the Gears of War 3 Beta in April but I'll be sure to buy this game after the Beta's end. I'm looking forward to destroying my opponents online with Goro! :P
It looked OK. Whilst I'm not necessarily ruling it out, there were issues with the gameplay. One, I must ask, was this Cam Footage or Actual Footage because the Colour Pallette shifted to a brown tone, more so after the mirror sequence, secondly, the audio seemed incredibly low quality (Again perhaps due to Cam Footage?).
However, what the game dos have going for it is a gritty, dark atmosphere and mystery regarding the fact we know nothing of the foes we'll be faci...
April 18th Literally can not come any sooner for me. This is going to destroy my Social Life for a month...
The only linear Spiderman games of which I have enjoyed were the original "Spiderman" & "Spiderman 2: Enter Electro" for the Playstation 1 & "Spiderman" for the PS2. However, the greatest Spiderman games of all time were easly "Spiderman 2" for the Xbox or Playstation 2 and "Ultimate Spiderman", both open-world and two of the greatest games of all time. Simply fantastic entries to the super-hero genre. I want a glorious return to the o...
